Loft Update 05/07/2012

I finally got a little bit more done on the new pigeon loft over the weekend.  I purchased a few things to finish the interior walls, installed some vents up high near the peak of the roof on both ends, and got one of the traps started.  Hopefully through this week I can get the trap functional so that the birds can start using it.  I really need to get these birds in the air! Loft Update 04/29/2012

New Pigeon Loft Construction Part II

I spent some time on the new loft today.  I am still not sure on a lot of details, but I knew that I needed perches on one particular wall.  This is the beginning of what will be my young bird section. I decided to try V-perches this time and I was able to knock out 25 of them in just a few hours.  The top edge is pretty sharp and I’ll need to round each perch off a little with a sander...
